Old pub with lots of character. Pleasant service of a broad range of ales from Greene King. Had lunch of fish and chips, which was good and steak and ale pie, which was bad. Good looking pie with pastry that was way too thick and soggy hispi cabbage.

Stopped for a pint and got some fries for children. Shameful what they got, small bowl with over cooked crispy shells missing potato. £7.00....how can the chef sleep at night. Rip off Britain at its best.
Barman and lady serving were pleasant and efficient. Didn't make up for then junk food though.

Totally enjoyed are meals ,first time visiting today .great food and great service.good portions and warm venue.i find some places don’t have any heating on and i don’t enjoy my meal when I’m cold.so well pleased how lovely and warm it was.

The Sunday roast was really tasty and the meat was delicious. Ryan and Angelica were really friendly and the service was excellent.

We visited the Garrick Inn last week Friday and Saturday and both evenings we had a brilliant experience. The staff are incredibly friendly and work really hard. We visit this pub quite often and the staff are always really friendly and accommodating. The food is lovely and the kids menue is brilliant my daughter loved her Fish and chips on both occasions. We was served buy the lovely Ryan, he works really hard and tries too make sure who ever wants too dine in the restaurant area is able too dine there without issues even tho at times it maybe fully booked. We love too visit this lovely historic pub and will continue too visit every time we are in Stratford

Just visited for drinks. Only one on the bar who did not know who was next, and served someone before me. Not his fault to be fair, the other customer should have said something, but I thought good bar persons manage the queue. It's OK inside, reasonable atmosphere, but a little pricey. Still recommended.

Good atmospheric pub to rest tired feet. We only went because of the rumoured haunting (😜) and claim to be the oldest pub. We didn’t see any ghosts however!!
Good quick service and what we ordered was tasty. We saw lots of people eating the Sunday roast which looked plentiful and delicious- would probably go back to try it some day.
